The pants are knitted top-down in stockinette stitch. Knit them in a solid color, with stripes, or with different rib colors as pictured. They can also be knitted in our soft cotton, Cuddle Me Cotton, with the same gauge. The fit is slightly wide, longer in the waist, and shorter in the feet. Long ribbing at the feet so the pants can be used with or without cuffs. Cuffs can be folded down as the children grow.
You will also need elastic band (1.5-2 cm wide) for the waist, or you can knit an I-cord drawstring.
