LA VIDA LILAC JACKET KNITTING PATTERN

Recipe for a knitted jacket with a textured pattern. A lovely jacket in our good, soft Hip Wool. The jacket is knitted from top to bottom. Delightfully simple texture, knitted in rib stitch, lace pattern, and stockinette stitch. First, you knit the back piece back and forth until the shoulders and armholes are created. You pick up stitches for the front pieces on the sides of the back piece. This way, you get the shoulder seam a bit back on the shoulder and towards the back, which gives the jacket an extra nice fit.
