Once Upon (A Time) Sweater Knitting Pattern

Once upon a time, there was a lovely sweater that tells of spring and summer adventures. With grass, flowers, clouds, and sun. Perfect to take with you into autumn and the dark winter months. The pattern is knitted using the intarsia technique for the best possible result. The front and back panels are knitted separately, from the bottom up, back and forth. They are later joined together at the sides. The sleeves are knitted from the top down. Feel free to use leftover yarn for small details. The sweater can be worn both ways. Pictured here in M-L.

FIT
Ease is approximately +15-20 cm from chest measurement/upper circumference for a loose fit. Measure your upper circumference (over the bust or widest part of the torso) – if your upper circumference is, for example, 89 cm, then size XS-S will fit best (21 cm ease). Can also be worn with a slimmer fit or a bit oversized – choose what suits you. The model pictured has approximately +30 cm upper circumference. Choose size based on upper circumference measurement or desired fit. Compare measurements with a sweater you already own and like the fit of. Note - correct measurements are only possible if the knitting gauge is maintained.
