EMILY GENSER KNITTING PATTERN

Knitting pattern for a summer sweater with a lace pattern in cozy cotton. Nice lace edge as a finish for sleeves and body. Looks like a crocheted sweater, but here you can knit it!

The name is after one of our favorite series, “Emily in Paris.” The sweater is knitted top-down, back and forth. Sleeves are knitted top-down, back and forth, by picking up stitches on the front and back pieces. Simple assembly with mattress stitch.

The fit is wide and short. The neckline is somewhat wide, and the sleeves have a flare. It's easy to adjust the length as it's knitted from the top down. The garment has a **positive ease** of approximately 20 (-30) cm. Measure your bust circumference and choose a size based on a measurement that is 20 cm larger than your own bust circumference (or as desired. You might also want to measure the bust circumference of a sweater you already own and like the fit of, perhaps you want yours narrower).
The sweater stretches more in width than length with use.
