MERLOT SWEATER KNITTING PATTERN
Knitting pattern for a lovely everyday sweater with fine details and fit. The sweater is knitted from the top down. You start by casting on stitches at the neck and knit back and forth while increasing on each side to achieve a good fit over the shoulders. Once the back piece is finished, you knit the front pieces by picking up stitches from the back piece. The front and back pieces are knitted together after the armhole is finished. The sleeves are knitted from the top down; you pick up stitches from the armhole on the body.
FIT
The sweater can be loose-fitting, approx. + 20-30 cm ease. This means you should choose a size that is 20-30 cm larger than your own bust measurement (or widest point of your upper body). You can also measure the width of a sweater you already own and like the fit of. For example, if you are 94 cm around the chest, both size S (19 cm ease) or M (25 cm ease) would be a good fit.
You also need a needle for thread attachment, scissors, and a measuring tape.
The knitting pattern will be sent as a PDF file to the email address provided in your order. You can also find it under «My Account» if you create a user. Remember to check your spam folder if you do not receive the pattern. Download and save the pattern after purchase.
