Fruity Ganser Barn Knitting Pattern

Fun knitting pattern with fruit for children. Knit from the top down. Fruit is knitted in. No assembly required – sleeves are knitted from the top down. Wide fit. Split in ribbing on the body. The sweater is knitted longer in the back for a better fit.

Pictured is Strawberry sweater (girl 6 years on girl 7 years): Main color «Blooming Lilac» fluff, fruit: «Oh la la orange», stem: «Jelly bean green», dots: «Lemonade» fluff. Lemon sweater (str 10 years on girl 8.5 years): main color «Snow» Fluff, «Little Miss Sunshine» Fluff on lemon, stem: «Pine forest».  Orange sweaters (6-year-old girl, 5-year-old girl): Main color «Fairytale pink» fluff, orange in color «Oh la la orange» fluff, stem «Forest green» fluff.

Fit – Choose a size that is + 5-10 cm more than your bust measurement. You can also choose a looser fit, it looks good oversized. Due to the pattern, it has little stretch.

PINNER:
Needles 4.5 mm, 5 mm, 5.5 mm, or 6 mm in 60 cm circular needles. Short 40 cm circular needle for neck/sleeve, as well as double-pointed needles if you do not knit the magic loop method.

2-4 years knit on needles 4.5, 4 and 3.5mm
6 and 8 years old knit on needles 5, 4, and 3.5mm.
10 years knit on needle sizes 5.5, 4.5, and 4mm
12-14 years, knit on needles 6, 4.5, and 4 mm
