Rewind Sweater Knitting Pattern

Knitting pattern for a colorful 80s sweater. Lovely fun patterned sweater from HipKnitShop! The Rewind sweater is knitted from the top down in a delightful pattern. Sleeves are knitted from the top down. The fit is wide with long sleeves and a normal, somewhat short body.
Here we have knitted with a strand of Fluff mohair. The pattern has therefore been adapted and adjusted for the mohair yarn. The sweater is more oversized than the original in Hip Wool.

Fit The sweater should be loose-fitting, approximately 30-40 cm of ease. This means you should choose a size that is 20-30 cm larger than your own chest measurement (or the widest point of your upper body). You are welcome to measure the width of a sweater you already own and like the fit of. For example, if you are 94 cm around the chest, size S will fit well. Note – correct measurements assume that stitch gauge is maintained.

Narrower fit? If you want the sweater a bit tighter with less circumference, you can easily knit the sweater on 6 mm needles with 16 stitches per 10 cm = circumference 112 (118) 135 (152) cm. 6.5 mm needles provide an intermediate size here (if the stitch gauge is maintained).
