SUNNY SWEATER KNITTING PATTERN

Simple knitting pattern for a child's sweater. A simple and timeless children's sweater in our soft POP merino. The pattern is for both a solid-colored and striped version.

The sweater is knit from the top down, making it easy to adjust the length of the sleeves and body to the child. First, the front and back panels are knit separately, back and forth, in stockinette stitch. When the armhole is finished, the pieces are joined on the needle and knit downwards around the body in rounds. The sleeves are knit from the top down by picking up stitches in the armhole.

Knit it in a single color, with stripes, different colors, a two-part sweater with one color on top and another on the bottom. A good basic pattern for playing around with colors and combinations. The Sunshine Sweater pairs nicely with the POP trousers for children (available here: Pop Overalls Kit ).

Fit: The garment has a range of motion / «positive ease» of approximately 5-10 cm. Measure the child's chest circumference and choose the size based on measurements that are approximately + 5 cm from the child's.

The knitting pattern will be sent as a PDF file to the email address provided in your order. You can also find it under «My Account» if you create a user. Remember to check your spam folder if you do not receive the pattern. Download and save the pattern after purchase.
