Knitting Pattern 80s SWEATER

Colorful knit sweater in 80s style! Candyfloss sweater with a round neck. The sweater is like our original, but here we have made it with a round neck instead of a V-neck, and with stripes on the back. Knitted from the bottom up in one strand of Fluff. Sleeves are knitted from the top down, by picking up stitches in the opening of the body.
Pictured on models in XS-S (pink) on model 168 size M, and M (green and mint) on model 169 size S.

FIT
The sweater runs large. It has a wide and short fit with a thick neckline. It's roomy with wide sleeves and a regular/slightly short body. The model is intended to be wide, with about 20 cm of ease. This means you should choose a size that is 15-20 cm larger than your own chest measurement. Feel free to choose the fit you prefer.

COLORS
Pink / light pink / light green in size XS/S: Fluff «In Love pink», Fluff «FairyTale pink», Fluff «Must Have Mint», Hip Mohair «Tropical Iceland», Fluff «Blooming Lilac» and Fluff «Lemonade». On one of the stripe color backs of the sweater, we have also used Fluff «Peach Cream». You are welcome to use one of the other colors if desired, or use other leftover yarn.
Green/ mint/ yellow size M: 1: Jelly Bean Green Fluff, 2: Minty Breeze Hip Mohair (2 skeins) and Must Have Mint top (1 skein) top 3: Fairy Tale Pink, 4: Lemonade, 5: Lilac Breeze, 6: Tropical Island (circles at the top), 7: Candy Pop Pink (stripe color in the back with Fairytale Pink)

We've also mixed it up with different colored ribbed sleeves. Feel free to play around and create your own version! Alternatively, you can replace one strand of Fluff with 4 strands of Hip Mohair. This way, you'll have an extra wide color selection and can combine the two yarns as you wish. You can either use both ends of 2 skeins to get 4 strands, divide a skein into 4 small ones, or use 4 skeins.
