VANILLA GAUZE V-NECK KNITTING PATTERN AND YARN

Knitting kit with yarn and free digital knitting pattern. Vanilla sweater V-neck. One of our favorite patterns, Vanilla sweater, now also with a V-neck. The Vanilla V-neck is knitted from the top down. You start by casting on stitches at the neck and knitting back and forth while increasing on each side to achieve a nice fit over the shoulders. Once the back piece is finished, the front pieces are knitted by picking up stitches from the back piece. The front and back pieces are knitted together after the armhole is finished. The sleeves are knitted from the top down, picking up stitches in the armhole of the body. The sweater has a slightly loose fit.

FIT
The sweater should be loose, approximately + 20-30 cm ease. This means you should choose a size that is 20-30 cm larger than your own bust measurement (or the widest part of your torso). It's also a good idea to measure the width of a sweater you already own and like the fit of. For example, if you measure 94 cm around the bust, both size S (with 24 cm ease) and M (with 30 cm ease) would fit well. The model pictured has a bust measurement of 92 cm and is wearing size M. Note: correct measurements depend on maintaining the correct gauge.

Adjustments: If you want a narrower fit, you can go down one needle size but follow the length measurements of a larger size. If you find the upper width too wide in the smallest sizes, you can go down one needle size when knitting (6 mm or 6.5 mm needles).
