Fishy Sweater Knitting Pattern
Knitting kit with yarn and free digital knitting pattern. Sweater for children. Cute sweater knitted in Hip Wool. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. When the armhole is created, the front and back pieces are divided into 2 parts which are then knitted separately to the specified length. Sewn or knitted together at the shoulders. Sleeves are knitted from the top down – stitches are picked up in the armhole of the body.
FIT
Ease (positive ease) is approximately + 15 cm from chest circumference for a slightly loose fit. If the child measures, for example, 43 cm around the chest, size 2 years will fit best (17 cm ease). Choose size based on upper body measurement and adjust sleeve and body length to fit the child. Note – correct measurements depend on adhering to the knitting gauge. Due to the all-over pattern knitting, the sweater cannot be significantly reshaped with steam/washing. It is therefore important to choose the correct needle size according to gauge. If you are between two sizes in circumference, go up a size and knit sleeve and body length according to the child's age/measurements.
In addition to knitting needles, you will need a darning needle, scissors, and a measuring tape.
