ISLAND VEST KNITTING PATTERN AND YARN

Knitting kit with yarn and free digital knitting pattern for a simple striped vest for women. The vest is from the same series as the Island sweater. Knitted from the bottom up, back and forth, in a strand of Hip Wool. Simple narrow ribbing around the sleeves, neck, and placket with nice details.
The vest has a spacious fit and wide arm openings. Normal to short body length.

The knitting pattern will be sent as a PDF file to the email address provided in your order. You can also find it under «My Account» if you create an account. Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t receive the pattern. Download and save the pattern after purchase.

You also need a needle for thread attachment, scissors, a tape measure, and 6 small buttons.

 

FIT
The vest can be roomy, approximately + 15-20 cm of ease. This means you choose a size that is + 15-20 cm larger than your own measurement around the chest (or widest point of your torso). You are welcome to measure the width of a garment you already own and like the fit of. For example, if you are 94 cm around the chest, size M will fit well (17 cm ease). You can choose a more oversized fit or a slightly closer fit, as when it comes to fit, your personal preferences count the most.

Note: Correct measurements depend on maintaining gauge.
