KNITTING PATTERN FUNKYTOWN SWEATER AND YARN

Knitting kit with yarn and free digital knitting pattern. Colorful 80s mohair sweater knitting pattern. New, lovely, colorful knitted sweater from HipKnit! The Funkytown knitted sweater is worked from the bottom up in one strand of Fluff mohair. When you get to the sleeves, the front and back pieces are divided in two and worked separately. Sleeves are worked from the top down by picking up stitches in the opening of the body. The pattern is divided into several simple charts worked up the body, and two neck options are provided.

Fit – The model should be loose, approx. 15-25 cm ease. This means you choose a size that is approx. 15-20 cm larger than your own bust measurement. If you want a slimmer fit, you can go down a size, but follow the length measurements for a larger size. (The sweater also looks good with up to + 40-45 cm for an oversized fit, depending on your preference).

Alternatively, you can replace one strand of Fluff with 4 strands of Hip Mohair. This way, you have an extra wide color selection and can combine the two yarn types as desired. If you knit with Hip Mohair, use both ends of 2 skeins for 4 strands, divide one skein into 4 small ones, or use 4 skeins.
