DAYDREAM SWEATER KNITTING PATTERN

Lovely everyday sweater that pairs just as well with jeans as it does over a dress. The sweater is knitted from the top down in one strand of Pop Merino held together with one strand of Hip Mohair. It has a regular fit and length.

You start by casting on stitches at the nape of the neck on the back piece. Here you knit back and forth while increasing on each side. The front pieces are knitted separately at first; you pick up stitches from the back piece. When you have created a neckline shaping, the front piece is knitted as one. The front and back pieces are knitted together after the armhole, and you continue in rounds down the body. The sleeves are knitted from the top down by picking up stitches in the armhole.

FIT: The sweater looks good both when it fits slightly (allow for approximately 5 cm of ease) or oversized (10-20 cm of ease). Choose your size based on your desired fit and adjust the sleeve and body length as desired during the process.
